A poignant voice
Cypriot singer-songwriter Vakia Stravrou was able to reach the heart of the public and critics when she presented her own composition “Sozinha”.
Following the presentation of her own work “Sozinha”, singer-songwriter Vakia Stavrou, born in Cyprus, was described by the international press as “a voice that breaks the heart.” The success of this composition led her to give concerts in prestigious theaters and festivals throughout Europe. He signed with the French record label “Accords Croisés” and his last work appeared in the fall of 2016, collecting several of his live performances.
Her songs “Thalassino Nero / Sea Water” and “Bellaroussa”, which she performed in the 2016 Mediterranean Concert, were composed and written by herself and both are a luminous example of her Mediterranean heritage obtained in her native Cyprus. At the same time, however, Vakia is a “world traveler” who knows no boundaries in her musical career.
