Francesca Schiavo perfectly combines her two main artistic facets, singer and actress, obtaining international recognition by both.
Francesca Schiavo began in the world of the song at the age of 16, becoming a few years later the soloist of the prestigious Italian Orchestra of Renzo Arbore, which led her to perform all over the world, including such prestigious venues as Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden in New York. He also participated in the renowned Monteux Jazz Festival, where he had Quincy Jones as artistic director.
He also participated three times in the Sanremo Festival and won numerous awards and recognitions, including the Platinum album in Italy for his album “Mina contra Battisti” and the gold in Greece with Stefanos Korkolis. Also took part with Nino Buonocore in the album “Ciao Roberto”, a tribute to the great Roberto Murolo, and was counted among the invited stars of the Festival of Demos, next to Patty Bravo and Michel Pergolani. With Eddy Napoli he toured the main European stages. Later Schiavo was chosen by Alberto Pizza for his album “On The Way”, in which also participated Mark Knopfler, Tquinho, Mino Cinelu and Fabrizio Sotti.
This 2016 Francesca Schiavo is making the world tour “Recital d’Autore”, which is placing her as one of the best interpreters of the classic Neapolitan and Italian song.
