On July 15, 2010, the ONUART Foundation, represented by its Chairman Miguel Angel Moratinos, signed an agreement with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay, for the creation and dissemination of a programme to promote human rights. This will be reflected through the creation and development of a cultural merchandising programme that will allow this message to be brought to the public through various consumer products and educational games.

The objective of the agreement is to promote human rights, starting with the concept of the "Non Discrimination", the fundamental right that the Office of the High Commissioner for UN Human Rights (OHCHR) is promoting this year.

The signing of this agreement with the High Commissioner for Human Rights is a step in the trajectory of the ONUART Foundation as a strong defender of human rights, promoted through contemporary art that, in turn, enhances understanding between cultures and societies.
