Cooperating Organisations

Along with the sponsors, other public and private companies have joined the effort of ONUART as cooperating entities, and their support has contributed to the success of its first major project, the new Room XX of the Palais des Nations. These institutions are: Govern de les Illes Balears, Generalitat de Catalunya, Junta de Andalucía, Gobierno del Principado de Asturias, Junta de Extremadura, Iberdrola, Caixa de Baleares 'Sa Nostra', Confederación Empresarial de Madrid (CEIM), Grupo Barceló and Fundación Ramón Areces.

Barceló Group

Barceló Group Barceló is a tourism group that runs hotels in Europe, Latin America and the United States. The company is owned 100% by the Barceló family, and has been running for over 75 years. The Barceló Group manages over 180 hotels in 15 countries, so it is one of the top 25 companies in the world. In addition to the hotel business, Barceló has a large travel agency network consisting of more than 400 offices.

Caixa de Balears "Sa Nostra"

Caixa de Balears "SA NOSTRA", Caja de Baleares, was founded in 1882 and is currently the financial business group with the largest social involvement in the Balearic Islands. It has shares in over 170 companies and its offices extend throughout the islands, with branches in Madrid, Las Palmas, Barcelona and on the Mediterranean coast.

FUNDACIÓN RAMÓN ARECES The Ramon Areces Foundation was created in 1976 with the broad objective of promoting scientific and technical research in Spain, as well as education and culture in general. It is active in the whole country in the areas of Life Sciences and Matter, Social Sciences and Humanities. For each of these areas, the institution has its own programmes: National Contests Research Grants, Grants for Further Study Abroad and Outreach Programmes, Socioeconomic and Cultural whereby advancing research contributes to the formation of human capital, and disseminates knowledge.
